Job Description

In addition to the Administrator requirements outlined below, the candidate must have experience developing reports in Wave Analytics Cloud.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Enhancements to Salesforce environment including but not limited to streamlining and managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations
  • Working with management, strategic planning & analysis staff and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other internal and external technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards to monitor marketing activities.
  • Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including program staff, programmers, strategic planning and analysis staff and/or outside consultants as needed.
  • Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing.
  • Create documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and related materials for users as database applications are developed.

Requirements

  • Requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent education/work experience
  • 4-5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Deep understanding of Force.com standard objects, how and when to create custom objects, and how to create their relationships.
  • Experience with ETL tools like Data loader.
  • Salesforce.com certification(s) required.
  • Experience training new users on the Salesforce.
  • Experience developing business solutions for a rapidly growing organization.

Other Details

Location: Atlanta, Chicago, Hartford  or Los Angeles Area.  While most of the work may be done offsite, Consultant must be close enough to come in for periodic meetings at one of the above locations.  All work must be performed in the US.

Length: 6 to 12 Months+

Compensation: $55/hr, depending on experience.

Job Description

The SFDC Developer Sr position is responsible for translating complex business requirements and building custom development solutions within the Salesforce.com platform. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce.com platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs.
  • Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
  • Communicate and collaborate with other internal and external technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions.
  • Ability to support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals, and a large variety of custom objects
  • Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
  • Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
  • Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
  • Conducts training on use of applications developed.

Requirements

Project Manager Lvl I must have two years of experience as project coordinator
associated with PMO in operation and maintenance of project plans and tracking project
deliverables. PM is also responsible for administrative data warehouse development tasks
including but not limited to:

• Setup and maintenance of Project plans
• Status reporting and adherence to project timelines.
• Schedule program/project level meetings.
• Meet weekly with Developers and Data Analysts to discuss plan and status of
project.
• Update plan estimates, dates, and resources with information from project team
members.
• Run project portfolio reports and discuss issues with Project Sponsors.
• Run top initiative and milestone reports and discuss issues with PM.
• Create weekly project status reports with data.
• Generate weekly issues log report for PM. Partner with PM and other PC’s to
ensure standard processes are followed.

Three years of experience in analytics and reporting using SQL Server preferably
associated with Data Quality or Project Management. Analyst is responsible for
development of business rules and ‘Data QA’ activities for a data warehouse
development project.

  • Works directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical
  • and data requirements.
  • Perform moderately complex server-class database activities across various
  • platforms and environments including one or more of the following:
    • Business requirement identification and analysis
    • Data mapping
    • Moderate to complex SQL scripting / coding to automate and/or support the database data extractions or metrics
  • Consults with and provides guidance to database developers and client groups, often recommending tactical and strategic options for SQL Development and business logic.
  • Review data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy
  • Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of data and specification defects.
  • Documents all phases of the Data Mapping and QA process.
